Richland-Chambers Water QualityRichland-Chambers Reservoir maintained by the Tarrant Regional Water District supplies water to a major portion of the 1.5 million people in North Central Texas. Nutrient enrichment and algal growth due to excess nitrate and nitrite are concerns at the reservoir in addition to the high pH. The goal of the project is to verify the effectiveness of best management practices installed on Mills Creek within the Richland-Chambers Reservoir watershed.
